In the subject, please put BAND NAME / SHOW NAME if you are submitting for a particular event.
Also helpful, although not mandatory would be any youtube video's you may have and/or future show dates so that i may check out your band.
DO NOT send me your myspace or Sonic Bids page telling me to get your info there. I need that info sent directly to me. Aside from legal reasons, I have too many bands asking for shows and do not have the time to fish around for your info.
By submitting your info, it tells me you are genuinely interested and took the time to send exactly what i need.
Also, if you've sent in your info before, YES, you DO need to send it again!
Bands go through line up changes often. after every show a band can (and should) revise their Bio. New picture's, new members, new contact info, etc, are all things i need to be updated with. I choose bands by who sent in their info.
When booked, Please make the same effort to promote your show
with physical & online flyers, bulletins, list it in your show dates & don't forget,
good old fashioned word of mouth.
Also, please make sure your band meets the age requirements of the venue.
This is not my decision and is out of my hands.
If you are under 21 and you show up to play a 21+ show,
there is no guarantee you will be allowed to play.
so do us both a favor and make sure in advance.

THE ROCK is looking for fresh, new music.
If your band is ready to Rock the Legendary TOBACCO ROAD, Miami's OLDEST Bar, Voted BEST ROCK in the Miami New Times 2008 Readers Poll, please email the above information.
This is what we have to offer:
1. We give each band 40 Tickets to pre-sell $5-$10 each (they are good FOREVER and a $10 value, Can be used any thursday- but of course you want them for YOUR show).
This way you can start making your money and promoting your show in advance. You can also give them away, but remember this is your payment.
Cover at the door will be $5, so remind your friends, family, fans to get their tickets from you in advance.
PLAY IN FRONT OF A PACKED HOUSE
(think about it- 40 tickets per band- 4 bands- Thats at least 160 heads!)
2. You'll be playing at the LEGENDARY Tobacco Road. 96 years old, still going strong with Live music 7 nights a week!
3. There will be no "starving musicians" @ Tobacco Road!
Each band member will get a coupon for 1/2 off food from the award winning Tobacco Road Menu.
PLUS a ticket for a free draft beer. Great deal for you "Starving Musicians"!
(Their Burgers were rated #1 by 610 WIOD & Paul & Young Ron from BIG 106 have a signature Club @ 'The Road!).
4. Your show will be heavily promoted on many different websites and local area stores. All we ask is that your band promotes itself and the show as well. We will promote you as if your band was our band.
I will design a flyer and print posters to be posted at Tobacco Road. You may use my flyer to promote your show or you may design your own.
Please send a friend request to all of our myspaces and post or repost the bulletins we send out for your show. Together we will do our best to make sure your show is packed and you have the chance to make as much money as possible.
*** Although I will make an official flyer for the show, YOU must also create an eflyer for your performance. this must be sent in 3 weeks prior to your show. This serves as many different purposes:

It helps to promote YOUR individual performance (time).
Sometimes one flyer will catch someone's attention better than another. it's better to have different versions floating around.
5. You will get a Merch table to sell your Cd's, T-shirts, Posters, Stickers, etc.

* You MUST call your soundman, to find out what you need or do not need to bring.

* Please arrive at least 1 hour prior to your set time for Set up and soundcheck. I encourage everyone to come early and stay late to help support the other bands. You would want the same, right?
* Each band should load-in their equipment while the band before them is performing. The room is too cramped to have all the bands' equipment sitting around. so please load in and out accordingly.
* Between bands, there might be a comedian performing in front of the stage during breakdown/set up. It's ok, they know you'll be working around them.
* There is $2 parking available in the lot behind Tobacco Road. Yes, the performers have to pay for parking- even I do, but trust me, it's much better than parking on the street and having your gear stolen. Just tell the Valet when you need to load in and unload, they will direct you where to go.
